The Arminian National Anthem

Note: they want to be free.

  1. I have set the timer on my oven to see how soon before the Arminians and/or rock&roll haters and/or holocaust victims demand that this be removed.

  2. I am not sure I would call this Rock & Roll.

  3. I was going to put the original music video, but that video featured the members of Queen dressed up as women cleaning house and singing. Also, it showed a shirtless Freddie Mercury singing and prancing around, and I thought our readers who are big-time Westminster-quoters would say something about promoting "effiminacy." But hey! Who's going to object to Hitler performing it? I know Fred Phelps wouldn't mind!

By the way, Josh. I really wouldn't know what to call it if I didn't call it rock 'n roll. It certainly isn't classic in the same sense as Elvis, the Beatles, etc. but I'm pretty sure this is still rock & roll.

And for the record, I got my Dylan and Beatles LPs in the mail today. The vinyls are in mint condition and don't even look like they've been played before. Awesome. Especially the Freewheelin' Bob Dylan album. It sounds literally as perfect as the CD, if not better. I know since you're such a huge Dylan fan you would love to hear this.

  4. Adam I hate for your oven timer to be set for nothing, so here it goes.

How can you Bible believing Christians put a post a rock and roll song!! Do you not know that rock and roll and its lovers will be thrown into the lake of fire? Repent, and return to the pure things of God!

In case it needs to be clarified, I have nothing against rock and roll.

  5. Hmmm...

    It was certainly, uh...
rather uncomforable. I mean... I found it amusing... but at the same time I'm pretty sure that means I'm going to hell now.
